If the coffee tastes moldy, it is likely that the thermal coffee mug is not properly cleaned and may have mold or bacteria growing inside. To ensure that a coffee mug fits under a Nespresso machine, it should have a maximum height of around 3.5 inches. This allows enough clearance for the coffee to be dispensed into the mug without overflowing. It is recommended to use a smaller-sized mug or cup that can comfortably fit under the spout of the Nespresso machine to avoid any spillage or mess. Additionally, choosing a mug with a narrower base can also help ensure a proper fit under the machine. **

The scratches on the coffee mug are likely the result of wear and tear from regular use. Over time, the mug may have come into contact with other objects or been washed with abrasive materials, causing the scratches to appear. While the scratches may affect the appearance of the mug, they are unlikely to impact its functionality. If the scratches bother you, you may consider using a special cleaner or polish to minimize their appearance. **
